Within the next week I should be able to deliver a review on What the Best College Teachers Do which I would highly recommend to you if you plan to teach in any venue consistently (i.e. if you’re a pastor, small group leader, Sunday School teacher, or aspiring professor)

Courtesy of New Growth Press, I’m finishing up Marriage Matters and should be able to get that up within the week as well.

They also just sent along copies of When Will My Life Not Suck? Authentic Hope for the Disillusioned
and also “We’re Just Friends” and Other Dating Lies: Practical Wisdom for Healthy Relationships both of which look like interesting reads.

Intervarsity Press graciously sent along a copy of Jesus, Paul and the People of God: A Theological Dialogue with N. T. Wright as well as Christianity and Literature: Philosophical Foundations and Critical Practice. Hopefully I can get to these by the end of April.

I haven’t received them yet, but from Crossway I’m expecting review copies of Rediscovering the Church Fathers as well as an advance copy of The Greener Grass Conspiracy: Finding Contentment on Your Side of the Fence.

From personal reading, I should have some thoughts on The Gospel and the Mind: Recovering and Shaping the Intellectual Life and Authentic Communication: Christian Speech Engaging Culture both of which have been really great reads.

It’s a lot to work through, but maybe this makes a better case for why I don’t have time for Love Wins
