I had three posts from this week:
- A continuation of the review of Michael Horton’s The Christian Faith
- Part A and B of a series taken from my ETS paper on using John Frame’s triperspectivalism in watching movies
Elsewhere on the web, check these out:
- Desiring God is offering a read through of their namesake with John Piper
- A list of the most popular highlights from Fred Sanders The Deep Things of God
- The writer of “Expelled” is taking on a documentary on hell in response to the recent hub-bub about you know who (who got an open letter this week)
- The Resurgence is starting a biblical theology series, which should be good
- Carl Trueman talks about the problems with trendiness
- A recently discovered and translated letter to Paul (only read if you like satire about current theological events)
Lastly, three videos:
- A homeschooler who won the national spelling bee exasperates a CNN news anchor
- Justin Bieber and Slipknot mashed up: With Bieber’s vocals and with Slipknot’s vocals

Hi Nate. I just started reading the Christian Faith, so I was happy to find somebody that is blogging on it. I was able to find your blogs on a couple of chapters, but I’m wondering if you’ve covered more and I’m just not looking in the right places. Thought I would read the chapter first, then check out your blog. Thanks
Bob
Bob,
You can find all the posts I’ve got so far on the Christian Faith under the What Do I Write About tab, under the On-Going series, it’s the one titled Pilgrims on the Way. They’re somewhat critical, but it’s the nature of the class I’m taking on it right now. Hope they’re helpful though.
Nate
