If you happen to have a Kindle (or Nook,) or have the Kindle app on your iPhone or iPad, you might want to look into picking up one or more of these eBooks published by Monergism:
- The Work of the Trinity in Salvation
- The Sufficiency of Jesus Christ Alone: Classic Essays in the Doctrine of Justification
- The Need for Grace Does Away With Free Will Altogether
- Solus Christus: The Gospel for Sinners
- Intro to Reformed Theology: A Calvinist Survival Guide
- Christ Our Sanctification: The Reformed View of Mortification and Vivification by Grace
Each one is a combination of classic essays by Reformed authors on the particular topic and helpful shorter essays written by the editor and founder of Monergism, John Hendryx. They’re each just $7 or $8 making them a great deal for all the content you are getting. In some cases, a few of these have entire books within them (like Jonathan Edwards’ Freedom of the Will and Luther’s Bondage of the Will in the 3rd one listed). I’ve grabbed the 2nd and 3rd ones listed and will probably eventually get the rest as well. If you’re looking to build an e-library of good theology books on a budget, keep an eye on this series.
