Lately, I’ve seemed to have a knack for stumbling upon rarely seen rodents.
Case in point: this bat I found at Reformed Theological Seminary.
You may remember Dusty the Mole (may he rest in peace), but in this case, I decided against trying to catch the bat (though you know I could have if I had wanted to).
I did spend some time tossing pieces of mulch at the bat in hopes that he would do something interesting. I stopped when I remembered that I didn’t have time this week to go to the doctor and get a rabies shot, and decided to just head home.
Once home, I was greeted in my inbox with a gift certificate from Westminster Bookstore that comes from all the clicks on book links. After some internal debating, I settled on this list of books for my order:
- Puritan Theology / Meet the Puritans (2 Book Set)
- Understanding Spiritual Warfare: Four Views
- Reading the Gospels Wisely: A Narrative and Theological Introduction
- New Testament: A Historical and Theological Introduction
- The Bruised Reed (Puritan Paperbacks)
- The Mystery of Providence (Puritan Paperbacks)
I know I’ve already got Puritan Theology in eBook, but after looking at it, it’s definitely a book I want to have on my shelf (for easier browsing access) and the deal that Westminster is offering on the 2 book set for $45 is hard to pass up!
On the others, I’ve waited to get once I knew this gift certificate might be coming this month, and that Puritan Paperbacks were on sale.
I’ll keep you posted when they all get here, and thanks a bunch for clicking on my book links!
